How much has Sumlin's NFL stock fallen?

Let's face it, he's had some pretty ugly losses the last three games. Are NFL GM's still going to want him after this season?

Yes.. As an offensive coordinator.

Market closed down 17.2 % on him today.

He would be a solid WR coach in the NFL

His NFL stock no longer exists and his college stock has fallen significantly.

Why would his scheme ever work in the NFL?
He runs a complete gimmick offense that doesn't rely on reads. If you notice, pretty much every quarterback in college that didn't have to make reads, running an offense based off of timing and throwing the ball to a spot, never makes it in the NFL.
It's the same reason Jameis won't make it.
He'll never be an NFL coach. He's pretty overrated in college, as it is.

This makes no sense. FSU doesn't run the air raid or the spread really. Their offense is pretty pro style in what they do

Goose eggs do not look good to AD's/NFL front offices looking for an offensive coordinator

As stated earlier, I think he'll be a great assistant coach in the NFL, and that's probably where he belongs. It's becoming clearer every day that he doesn't have what it takes to run an entire program of kids as a head coach. I see him like coach O, great at a few things, but just not SEC HC caliber.

A few weeks ago when A&M was riding high, the troll du jour was what is A&M going to do when Sumlin leaves for the NFL. Sad to another trolling point fall flat on its face.

It's not necessarily about spread or throwing the ball much with them.
They are more pro-style, but Jameis makes hardly any reads in that offense. He doesn't have to make many pre-snap adjustments either. He also doesn't go through his progressions that well sometimes.
He has improved his release a little bit, but it's still on the longer side.
That dude isn't an NFL starting quarterback.

I don't think Sumlin had that much NFL stock in the first place. Maybe not even a fair shot at USC.
I think it is possible that out of obligation Coach Swag's agent got a couple of calls from the NFL. His agent did what he was supposed to do and parlayed that into an undeserved raise. There is no way any serious program or franchise put serious thought into hiring that clown based on a win over Alabama in 2012.

A fine example of why you take the money and run if you ever do have higher ambitions. The window can close so fast.

Not many college QBs are asked or allowed to make a bunch of pre snap adjustments
FSU runs a pro style offense with the same type of route concepts. Winston could certainly end up struggling in the NFL but the offense they run is similar to offenses run by many successful NFL QBs in college. Not really sure what it has to do with Sumlin either

Of course they are. He'll be an outstanding coach in the NFL. So much bullshite he has endure in college that he won't have to in the NFL.

No NFL teams ever wanted him in the first place
