If LSU DOES somehow pull the upset, how does this change things?

I know people have been talking about a 3 way tie between us, MSU (if we beat them) and OM ( if they lose to MSU) but where exactly do we stand if the corn dogs manage to to pull the upset? We'll more than likely be ahead of them in the polls if they lose.

I'm surprised I haven't seen more people talk about this.

If Ole Miss loses and we win out, then we're in... Simple as that...

In what? Ole Miss would still win the West if LSU is the only game they lose. They'd have the tiebreak over us if we both finish 7-1 in conference.

The other option for the OP's question: if LSU beats Ole Miss and we win out, then we'd want MSU to beat Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl. That'd just leave us and MSU at 7-1 at season's end and we'd have the tiebreak.

^^^^^^

The only reliable way we go to atlanta is if Ole Miss loses 2

The lose to LSU, I'd bet the house that they will also lose to either Auburn and/or Miss State...

I'm thinking Auburn and MSU are the best chance for loses but maybe LSU has some magic.

MSU has to beat OM unless OM loses 2 other games.

Counting on them to lose 2 is no sure fire way. We can pretty easily win a 3 way tie with OM and MSU depending on all the east players. AU and MSU go to Oxford.

So we are in for a wild ride.

Ole Miss has to lose two.

Oh, and Alabama needs to win them all. Starting Saturday.

Incorrect, OM does not have to lose 2. They just have to lose to MSU.

Only if miss st wins all of them except for against Bama. Then it would be a three way tie and we'd get the nod.

If LSU wins, then hold on to your butts because it will be the most intense November the SEC has ever seen. That game in Baton Rouge would suddenly become pretty big.

This is all Bama can do at this point to ensure anything else transpires and they make it in, wreck shop on our end...hope for a little luck to be granted in a WAOM situation and watch the dominoes fall

Bama needs to focus on the wrecking shop though and keep playing pissed off like we all witnessed last Saturday against the Ags, none of the other top 3 in the SEC West could've beat that team that played last Saturday
