Address this to Chicken on the Help Board.

Finish your post with "LSU sucks"

1) It already does as far as content (qualitative for sure).
2) Those who aren't in the know probably don't need to be.

Disagree. There are a few minor quibbles I have with the site, but overall functionality, navigation and interface are the reason I first started on this message board.

there should be

1. Direct messaging

2. Post reply notifications

3. You shouldn't have to leave the current screen to type a post reply (this one is easy)

You would probably have to run a different script all together to make this happen, but this site could be modernized at a pretty low cost. I'm just now starting out in programming but if I knew enough to actually do it I'd do it for a small fee.

also there is room for more ads that would get in your way less = more money.

What I'd really like to know is how much this site makes for those that own it?

Blech. Why would I want to talk to anyone directly on here?

DMing is great for increasing the junior high factor of the site and for adding another avenue through which to troll people.

idk why everyone has this deathly fear of being trolled. It's a little strange for a bunch of supposedly men (and a few women) to be SOOOO afraid that someone might try to get under their skin. Childish if you ask me.

Who's afraid of it?

Our subdivision has a FB page and there's nothing quite like being trolled by a dude who lives a block over. TD is child's play in comparison.

I just don't want to start a thread and get 20 shitty DM's. Then I have to go and click ignore on 20 people?

it doesn't work like that. honestly there are only a few people on this board who's sole purpose is trolling and they can be blocked in half a second.

haven't you ever wanted to ask someone if they went to your school or if they know some guy you know? PM is for that. Or mod issues etc.

I went through this phase when I first started out, thinking I could just log in and fix anything on sites, but after you get a few large projects(that started out small) under your belt, you will understand why it hasnt been upgraded when it is functioning as intended
