Mullen won't be available to take anyway

And Freeze would leave in a heartbeat. But he's too "jethro" looking for LSU.

Only former head coaches of Arkansas State University turn out to be worth a shite. Those from Fayetteville, not so much.

Even if Les Miles did leave which he isn't Jimbo Fisher would be hired the next day.

Should Les depart, LSU should look for a young, innovative offensive minded coach. That rules out Tubs

Lololol. Neither would leave to go to LSU after this season. I put everything I own on it.

Except a shitty defense that his Ole Miss offense can run up and down the field on.

Without getting defensive or mad, do you really think a coach from Ole Miss or Miss State wouldnt go to LSU if offered? And im not just saying that as an LSU fan. They would also leave for UF, Aubie, and Bama in a heartbeat

Skip was quoted wayyy off the record, when LSU was looking to replace DiNardo, that Tubbs had contacted him re the position. This was right after he had arrived at Auburn. Supposedly the league office let it be known that it would not "approve" of his jumping from one SEC team to another & then another, i.e. from O.Miss to Auburn to LSU. Skip was not interested in hiring him anyway, as the story goes.

I'll give you a level-headed answer. I really do not think Freeze would leave for LSU. Why? Freeze is different from just about every coach in the nation. He paved his own way. Y'all like to poke at his HS girl coaching job a decade ago, but fail to realize how awesome that actually is. He had no path and risked everything(seriously, I'll try to find his story...his path to Ole Miss is crazy awesome) to have a chance at Ole Miss. It's been his dream all of his life.

Actually, I'll make this easy. You love LSU right? I love Ole Miss. Imagine if LSU and Ole Miss were flipped...aka, LSU is a here and there program, while Ole Miss is a continual top 10 program. Say you worked your tail off and became the head coach at LSU, brought them into the spotlight. Would you ever leave LSU? Especially for your most "hated" rival?

I know if I became the coach of Ole Miss tomorrow, I would stay there until I was fired. Freeze really is different from majority of coaches. He is a diehard fan of Ole Miss and it's always been his dream job.

It's not Ole Miss fans trying to claim the OM job is better. We aren't. We'd be crazy to claim that, but it's not crazy to say Freeze would turn down LSU.

50/50 on this. LSU would talk to Freeze, no doubt. It wouldn't be the best of fits though. Ole Miss is a perfect fit for Freeze, who was an underdog his whole coaching career.

I think LSU would go after Urban Meyer, David Shaw, Jim Mora Jr., and Patterson. No sure any of them would take the gig. I don't think they would pursue him, but I could see Petrino's name come up in conversation too.

Urban would be scary good at LSU. Don't see Patterson being a good fit. Mora would also be a really good fit and would probably leave in the snap of a finger.

I think so as well.
