Welp my wife and I went to Auburn. However we live in Georgia where we have the HOPE scholarship. Our daugher therefore went to UGA because OOS tuition at AU is 28K a year. We cant afford that.
Having said that, and football aside, UGA is a fine academic institution. She did great in Finance at the Terry School of Business and now works for Deloitte Consulting.
I told her that during her 4 years i would suspend dislike for Georgia. however, now that she has graduated...its FULL JIHAD as usual!!
I love Auburn but if AU cant do it, then Im ok with the Dawgs because it makes the kiddo very happy.

I'm not implying AU is a 4x more prestigious institution but 20k in costs per year is a pretty huge factor in determining where a Georgia high school student is able to attend college.
