If Auburn does well in basketball this season will their fans think football no longer matters? Come on man.

I liked you a lot better with the stupid goober avatar. Just sayin'.

In any case yer wrong. MSU, OM, Auburn, Alabama, and Georgia fans have every reason to be optimistic. A&M fans have none and know it. Same for Arky, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, Florida, and Missouri. Who does that leave for the delusional award? There can be only one.

Why is this delusional when one is the odds on favorite to pull it off?

Only LSU fans are allowed to be optimistic (and schizo) about anything. Everyone else is just delusional. Duh.

The majority of us thought we were getting 7 wins and after USCe it was raised to 8 or 9

They're not actually. There's a law against it and you must pledge an oath to never be optimistic as an LSU fan. Even when they're winning 52-0 someone always says "Fire our linebackers coach. They're too fricking slow and they let Sam Houston State get one 7 yard gain"

I will say you are far more even keeled then most. I imagine you as Saban telling everyone to calm the frick down.

Last time I truly lost my mind over an LSU game.

ESPN - Ole Miss survives LSU's late comeback attempt to win

LINK

After I went ballistic over that decision to clock it I knew I needed to calm down or Les was going to make me stroke out.

I think it would happen if the Dawgs had a dependable quarterback.

And you still may be right.

georgia ...

ole miss and msu are legit this year ... auburn and bama have enough depth to win it all, tho the miss schools obviously control their own destiny ... losing to usc is bad mark on their season, thus far ... gurley coming back isn't that big a deal ...

I really have to call bull shite on this. I know of no aggie that thought this before you played usce. after that game most aggies I know were pretty much thinking west champs and in the playoff for NC.

Sig bet... weirdly between Aggies. You see mine, so you know I'll live up to it.  I don't think anybody is scoring a lot of points on Ole Miss, and I trust Dak to make up for his defense's few deficiencies.

This. It may just have been our offense performing terribly, but I don't think so. The only Ole Miss game I've seen was against us, but damn they looked ridiculously good.
