Mack Brown from 2010-2013 wins this award hands-down.

Cutcliffe 2003 easy, at least by the end of 2008 we were unbeatable and playing at an extremely high level. It just took a while for the players to get there having been on 4 straight losing teams.
2003 on the other hand a senior laden team dropped games to Memphis and Ttech that otherwise would have had Ole Miss in the BCS title discussion and we might have had our first version of the All SEC BCS title game. Cutcliffe really should've been fired after that season, but was given 2004 as a courtesy bow.

Nutt easily. Cutcliffe had Eli and that was it.

Larry Coker at Miami in the early 2000's. How he didn't win multiple titles with that talent is beyond me.

It feels weird talking about Cutcliffe this way. The guy brought Duke out the dam dumpster fire after ages of bad football.
He does less with more at Ole miss
He does more with less at Duke. How does that even happen?

He should have...the refs kind of screwed him in the second NC game. Coker went 35-3 in his first 3 seasons with two NC game appearances. Not exactly underachieving.

Look at the division they are in. You can win games with great Xs and Os and no talent at Duke. The only reason he was worth a shite at Ole Miss was because of Eli. If you go back and watch the games Eli was our quarterback, he almost always checked out of what Cutcliffe had called from the sideline. Eli was our offensive coordinator for 3 years.

Nutt in 08. That 03 team was just Eli and an O-line
