As an outsider, even when Auburn attempted a comeback, I knew that after the way State showed up in that 1st quarter, it would end with State winning by at least 2 tds.

I mean, I think this Auburn team is good. Pretty damn good to be exact, and will upset Ole Miss. I just don't see them having 2 huge road victories, and losing to UGurley.

To me, it is pretty stupid to talk about another team losing, especially after just getting stomped, no matter who the team was that did the stomping.

I don't necessarily disagree, but we also don't know what those teams will look like when we play. Alabama could lose twice before we play them. UGA could lose again. Ole Miss could end up with 3 losses. Now I don't know that any of those things are likely, but it's quite possible that in retrospect a month from now, records will have totally different value than we project right now.

I mean, I thought we'd have hard games against SCAR and TAMU. Maybe we still will, but I certainly didn't think games at MSU and Ole Miss would be the major tests of the year.

At best, I think AU goes 9-3. Auburn has a good team, but the've got one of the most difficult away schedules in the country this year. I don't see a loss at home happening, but I think they lose 2/3 between Ole Miss, UGA and Bama.

11-1.

I figure Bama knocks off MSU, Ole Miss finishes the job. Auburn in the SECCG, knocks off Mizzou and back in the playoff.

Because with Gurley plus Chubb you are unbeatable. Oh wait...

Do tell...what is Auburn's record thus far, and who have they beaten?

10-2 at worst. Maybe even 11-1. I think the MISS State game will motivate them to make a major comeback. I really think Auburn beats Ole Miss Nov. 1.

Kansas State. Hell, as bad as LSU is this year, they are probably still as good or better than anyone Georgia has beaten. Arkansas would seriously be in contention for Georgia's best win, and Auburn beat them in the opening game

5-1, wins over #11 Kansas St and #23 LSU. So better than UGA, FYI.

KSU was #20 at the time, and Auburn barely snuck by. UGA beat then #16 Clemson handily, then lost to a #21 USCe away by 3 pts.

Auburn is 1-1 playing away this season. UGA beat Arkansas and Mizzou away, in the midst of the Gurley storm, and lead the country in forced turnovers. I can't wait for Nov. 17.

Kansas State will have at least 2 more losses by the end of the year and won't be ranked.

And LSU

if they only have two more losses, they will be ranked, as usually the top 25 is filled with 4 loss teams

I may be misreading you, but it sounds like you are saying uga beat over rated teams that have proven to suck and that uga has had an easy schedule so far.

I can't wait for Nov 15, 16 and 17.

USCE was not worthy of a #21 ranking and Clemson wasn't worthy of #16 ranking, as the weeks have gone on that is apparent.

Kansas St is worth of #11 ranking because they're only loss is to the #5 team. They are #1 in the Big 12.

I have to agree, the Arkansas win would have been your most impressive if you hadn't let them score 4 TDs in the second half. Mizzou I guess is impressive but they lost to a 3-4 Indiana team who lost to Bowling Green, Maryland and Iowa St, the other was to Michigan St but that is understandable.

The one thing I am intrigued about with UGA is how they've allowed three teams that are a combined 2 and 10 in SEC play score an average of 34 points.

The 32 points Arkansas scored was the second most they've ever scored in Berts tenure against an SEC team. The last time was 33 to A&M early last year.

Another interesting stat.
UGA has only given up 4 turnovers, and have 17 take aways.
Auburn has given up 9, and only had 10 take aways.

In the 2 Auburn away games, Auburn had 5 turnovers.
If the trait continues, it looks like UGA will surely win the turnover battle with how well UGA has been with their turnovers.
