Ole Miss has everyone at home and they still won't win the West.

Ole Miss has to battle against Bama, State and Auburn for the West.

What a heck of a task this season.

I have a theory developing about the Mississippi schools that they're both one-sided teams who haven't really been tested on the road yet this year.

Ole Miss might not be ever. Just depends on how good LSU and Arkansas turn out to be.

I know this is probably elitist homerism but I feel very confident in playing MSU at home in a few weeks.

As you should. The Alabama and Mississippi teams are all a toss up this year. If you are the home team you have a good chance of getting the W.

Good to know a message board poster feels confident. I guess we shouldn't even bother showing up now.

State is last in total defense, passing defense, and red zone offense in the conference (according to Mullen's press conference).

Maybe they're just a really good offensive team with a stellar quarterback and a great D-line? Sounds a lot like 2010 Auburn to me, but likely not as good.

Maybe Ole Miss is just an elite defense, with an average offense that could struggle some in big games this year? Yes, I know they looked good down the stretch against Alabama...

The difference is that Mississippi State will actually be tested on the road. Ole Miss really won't as much. Like I said, just depends on how good LSU and Arkansas are.

However, I'd venture to say LSU is the best team Ole Miss has played on the road all year. Very interested to see how they look this weekend.

No please do. Crushing State's dreams is much more fun when you guys #BELIEVE.

LSU and A&M are about equal and we destroyed them.

So according to this article we are only two upsets away from winning the East. Auburn over UGA, and Mizzou over UT.

If we can get our offense going even a little bit, our schedule is very manageable down the stretch. We also play better on the road, which is where this article suggests our toughest game will be.

Sorry not sorry for not being "tested on the road."

Meh, we're a completely different matchup. They turned the ball over a ton. We likely won't do that because we don't throw the ball.
