Am I the only one who finds it stupid to wear another mans name on your back? I never have and never will buy a jersey because of this.

Jerseys I own:
Packers: Favre, Rodgers
Carolina: Lattimore, Eric Norwood
Wisconsin: John Stocco (don't ask why)
Red Wings: Lidstrom
Braves: Heyward, used to have a very old Maddux not sure where it is

All but Favre hang in my garage.

Theres nothing wrong with buying the uniform to hang, frame and be proud of. Nothing wrong with having a favorite player - just the stigma of wearing another dudes name on my back has caused me to never buy a jersey to wear.

It would be stupid to tattoo his name on your back but a jersey you can just take off.. No harm no foul

I have one as well. I also have an Altidore USMNT jersey and a Gerrard Liverpool jersey..

My jerseys (hockey and soccer) are more comfortable than the rest of the clothes I own.

Congrats? I've never cared what another grown man was wearing.

I wouldn't for the reason stated. I don't really care if anyone else buys them and wears them-but I will agree with Landmass that they are for children-not so much for women.

I watch anime.

I find it kind of endearing -- you know, reminds me of childhood and all that jazz. My dad and I used to watch Dragon Ball Z every day after school, so it kind of stuck with me.
