Seriously, it shouldn't even be a doubt that Gurley starts. Hes the best player in the country. Hes going to be gone after this year. Chubb will have his chance next year.

I say we start rowk. Starting is only the first play of the game so im confused why its such a big effin deal as long as the rock is being fed often to whoever the frick is dominating.

Gurley has given his all for Georgia for three years. Gurley is the best player in college football.

Gurley should start. Chubb should get a standing ovation when he comes in.

People who are pissed at Gurley and want to see him punished more are utter fools.

Even if he doesn't win, it would be nice if he could at least be invited to New York. I think there's a good chance of that at least.

Better chance of this and a 90% + chance of it happening

Could you imagine the noise at SS if Gurley and Chubb break the huddle in the same backfield! Hope it happens vs AU.

SIAP but what does ROWK stand for? I've seen it posted on here before and I'm assuming it's a nickname for Douglas

Those who want to start Chubb instead of Gurley better not be the same ones who complained about starting Mason because of loyalty or seniority or whatever.

If you really believe the best player should be on the field, then Gurley needs to start ahead of Chubb. Chubb is a monster in the making but Gurley has proven his worth time and time again over the past three seasons. He was in the thick of the Heisman race until his suspension, and I believe he will still be a contender. You don't bench a player like that unless his production severely drops off and your chances are better with someone else.

^exactly this. Couldn't have said it better. It's not like Chubb won't get his carries too.

Assuming Gurley is back for the WLOCP, I have to imagine the coaches will now be even more comfortable letting him get that rest in the 3rd quarter so he can finish the game in the 4th. Our depth at RB is a beautiful thing.

Speaking of depth. Anyone have an update on Marshall and Michel?

Richt made it sound like Marshall had a decent chance of being ready for UF.

He didn't sound quite as optimistic about Michel. I can't wait to see him back out there. Not only was he running well, but he is a speed demon on special teams and really disrupts other team's kickoff returns.

I think if Gurley gets reinstated I hope we hold out Michel until he is fully recovered. I really hope Keith Marshall can find his groove again.

same as yesterday, still questionable on both.

sony is getting x-rays in the next week to re-examine. Marshall is day to day.
