Have to give Ole Miss the edge but hoping LSU can keep it competitive to continue gaining confidence.

Low scoring. Ole Miss stacks the box to stop LSU's run game and LSU's QB can't deliver in the passing game. 24-10 Ole Miss.

He didn't complete a pass more than 6 yards past the LOI until their final drive of the half...

Are you sure? Really really sure?

So what if he had a good completion % ?!? We were winning 35-7 in the 4th on the road in front of 111,000+.

Yeah.. see that's the an issue. LSU has a massive run game. I believe his point is that Hill did that without you having to load the box. With LSU, you will have to. That makes it easier for LSU's QBs.

this thread likely won't be bump worthy for LSU fans, but I'll be damned if I didn't bookmark it anyway

And just how are we "struggling" on offense? We scored 34 against a Tenneseee team with the #8 defense in the land,

1- You had the help of a UT offense that sucks and could not maintain a drive. That =s more opportunities for your offense.

2- you have little ground game. 84th in the nation against horrible defenses.

3- Bubbles could only manage less than 50% completion against UT.

Sure Bo has had his inconsistencies but he's turned the corner as of late.

Of late meaning less than 50% against UT? That's turning the corner?

And lost DH in the second quarter.

OM is favored and should be this year. Still, I've seen less-talented LSU teams give great teams more than they bargained for. I think it happens again. LSU 27- OM 23

The fact all but ignored regarding this game:

OM has not played against an LSU team that has nothing to lose in many, many moons.

And at home.

Expect The Hat to be in full effizzect. CAN y'all handle success? Can you play full speed with the target on your back? Will you silence the critics until the Egg Bowl, or will you fold and see your dreams dashed?

This is OM's biggest test so far...All stats and past success count for squat if your heads ain't right.

Seriously, it should be fine, Rebs. I mean, yall have been here before...not like you're playing "where opponents' dreams come to die" or anything.

20-17, LSU in a barn-burner.

25-21 LSU

LSU has 2 safeties, 2 missed XP, a punt return and Magee throws for more yards than Jennings.

Alabama ran for over 150 on them. LSU is improving dramatically, and anyone thinking Ole Miss comes into this environment and walks away with a double digit victory is crazy.

The LSU d is playing MUCH better. The DL has improved dramatically with experience. Beckwith has shored up the middle, and the next superstar defensive back (adams) is emerging to go along with those great corners. With the crowd and this D....it is going to be a hell of a game. Vegas is sometimes wrong, but they aren't in the business of being way off, very often.

The crowd, coupled with the fact this is the first time in a LONG time LSU will be up for Ole Miss at home.....will make this a great game....bo will not be able to audible this game......ole miss will not run the ball...and bad bo returns.

LSU 20
Ole Miss 10

The melt will be incredible with Ole Miss fans, but Karma is a bitch.

Just curious if you can remember the last time that LSU lost double digits at home....I think you have to go back to 2008.
