No it doesn't, the rebuilding of the Football and Basketball programs have led to discussion of Long's seat being warm because the rebuilding occurred.

Jeff Long's seat is only hot in his Escalade, heated leather bitches.

Fair point, but I would say fan support/contentment level has a lot more to do with a head coaches job security than it does an ADs.

You said heading back to the cellar, and there's no evidence of that they'll win at least 8 maybe 9 games.

We can beat them and I think we will in a dog fight, but they are better than you described in that post.

I guess I should've specified. I more meant the talent cellar, not SEC (L)East cellar

Last year they were actually good. This year they look like we all expected them to look in this conference. Which is dickless on offense facing SEC d

Probably every time he sits down. Big guys like myself are just thermal generators. It is why skinny women with poor circulation are drawn to us like moths to a flame.

Can't really use the hard schedule excuse when you look at our ooc. It's the sec you either win or you don't. We have the same schedule the rest of the west has.

If he goes 0-16 his seat is warm. I 100% say give him 4 years regardless. But it's impossible to go 0-16 and still be sitting back with full confidence of a fan base.

The truth is we have a qb problem this year, and we might still have one next year. Patience blows and it's something a lot of our fans don't have. But firing him after a 5-7 year 3 will just tear down a base that took 3 years to put together

That's not really correct, but I agree with the sentiment of your post

Yeah we're not losing to Missouri.

I watched most of the 2nd half of their Vandy game and they are just awful. Mauk is about equal Casey Dick. They play right into our strengths.

what? We have a historically difficult schedule. 5 of our first conference games are against teams ranked in the Top 10 at the time of the game. 7 of 8 games will be against teams that were ranked in the Top 10 at one point in the season, and all 8 conference games will be against teams that are ranked in top 25. Also all of our conference opponent will have not only all been ranked in the Top 25 at some point in the season, but also will have all been Top 20 teams at some point.

That has to be some sort of record having all of your conference games coming against Top 20 teams at some point in one season.

Why the hell does it matter they were ranked in the top 10 at one point in the season? in 2012 we were ranked in the top 10 at one point in the season but we absolutely fricking sucked.

People complain about our schedule being hard like its not always going to be like this.

There's plenty of reasons this rebuild is going to take time. But year after year saying well our schedule is hard isn't one of them.

It's not always going to be like this

We started the season at Auburn. The SEC presidents recently agreed not to schedule any more conference games to begin the season. The only reason we did that this year was because the SEC Network wanted a marquee matchup for opening weekend and there was the perceived controversy of Bielema vs. Malzahn and all the hurry-up bullshite. We won't be starting the season with a road conference game for a long time, and we may never do it again.

We won't always have a Power 5 game on the road either. Yes, turns out Texas Tech sucks but it's still a nationally televised game away from home.

Next year we play Tennessee from the East, that's a lot better draw than Georgia.

MSU is #1 and we play in Starkville. That has never happened before.

In conclusion, our schedule will actually never be this hard in a normal season, and this year is an anomaly. Just look at our 2015 schedule, much more manageable.
