I think it all depends on if our guys keep fighting this season, or lose hope and spiral downward. LSU is improving each week, we seem to be getting worse.

based off them beating kentucky and us losing to georgia?

realistically we are where we thought we would be at this point in the season. nothing has changed that should bring up the idea of bert's seat getting warm. if anything we are ahead of where most thought we would be. but I get it, people are tired of losing so they think irrationally

You're going to shite when we beat LSU and Mizzou to make a bowl game THIS year.

We won't beat either. BB should start to feel some heat after this season. 0-16 is not acceptable under any circumstances. We aren't fricking Vanderbilt.

'15 Bowl or Bust. No bowl in '15 is unacceptable. We have UTEP, Toledo, UT-Martin, Texas Tech, and Tennesee on the docket next year. If we can't win 1 of our other 7 SEC games on that schedule, we never will with BB at the helm. Bowl game or a minimum of 3 SEC wins next year IMO.

When we end up with 6 wins and a bowl this year after having this schedule what are you going to say?

Folks need to realize the difficulty of our schedule. If we hadn't melted against A&M people would be talking an extremely different tune at 4-3 not to mention Walker's fumble, wet ball bad FG snap and blocked PAT vs Bama costing us 11 potential points from being at 5-2. All of this with a thin team because attrition from the 2010 and 2011 bust recruiting classes along with 2012 players getting ran off for other reasons after coaching change.

you can't be serious

LSU isn't playing a top 10 SEC team for every game like we have been

they've beat Wisconsin who was ranked 14th when they played to start the season but is now unranked

they beat Sam Houston State

they beat UL Monroe

they beat New Mexico State

they beat inept Florida by 3

they beat Kentucky at home by 38

their next two games are Ole Miss and @ Bama (both top 5 opponents)

Expectations.......

We're 0-4 in our first four SEC games yet we're still on track to exceed preseason expectations by reaching six wins and bowl eligibility.

If we're 0-6 in three weeks, we'll still be within reach of exceeding our goals.

If only I'd been able to meet a women with such low expectations......... I'd still be married.

It's not just the wins/losses I'm looking at. It's how we are playing and the mistakes we are making. We played well against tamu and had some dumb penalties and a breakdown late. Against Bama, we derped it away. The only reason it was so close was because Bama derped as much as we did. The first half of Georgia was the sloppiest football we've played in 3 years. I'm not irrational. I know it's a "long build" for Coach B. The fact is though, we have progressively played worse each of the last 3 weeks.

I'm not chalking up 2 SEC wins until we prove we can win 1. I picked us to go 5-7 preseason and we are still on pace for that. It doesn't feel bad to pick a 5-7 record in the Spring, it sure feels like hell to live it in the Fall though.

We have been so close against top ten teams to winning I definitely think we are good enough to get atleast one of the final four SEC games. Hoping two so we can get to a bowl, but still 3 out of those 4 are in the top 25, and 2 of those three are the #1, and #3 teams so it is gonna be tough.

I would hope given the colossal dumpster fire he walked into that we would give him at least one more year to fix it. But the 0-fer SEC thing has got to end, SOON!

I don't really buy the hard schedule excuse. We hired Bielema to win, and he knew we play certain high quality opponents every year

Our schedule isn't going to get any easier until some major coaching changes happen in the SEC west or the NCAA starts investigating Ole Miss/Alabama/LSU

I would say one big break in our scheduling is adding Missouri every year. They are back on track as being the perennial doormat we all thought they would be. Unfortunately, they replaced USCjr who was an automatic win already, so its a moot point

The fact that we're having this discussion means that his seat is warming up. Not necessarily hot yet, but warming.

No it doesn't, the rebuilding of the Football and Basketball programs have led to discussion of Long's seat being warm because the rebuilding occurred.

Jeff Long's seat is only hot in his Escalade, heated leather bitches.

I mean damn man, I hate Mizzou too for the most part but what is this based off? They're 2-1 in the SEC with wins @SC and at @UF. No shame in losing big to a very good UGA team that whipped our arse too.

There is a very good chance Mizzou wins out. Not so much because they are that good, but because they have Vanderbilt, Kentucky, @A&M, @Tennessee, and Arkansas.

None of those teams are tougher than @SC or probably even @UF honestly. Maybe us? Or A&M? But they own A&M lately in a big way so idk. Good chance they are 9-2 (6-1) when we roll into Columbia, worst case 8-3(5-2). And we'll probably be 4-7 (0-7) or best case 5-6 (1-6).

New Coaching staff comes in, and goes 0-12 in SEC play so far, and you want to give them a raise? Im all for giving him a 4-5 year min before we start calling for his job (which I am a big BB supporter, and knows he has us in the right direction so I doubt it ever comes to that)but I'm not for giving someone a raise when they have only proven they can beat the snot out of small teams, but not SEC teams yet, and beating SEC teams really is gonna be his money maker.

I'm trying to adjust to adjust from pulling in early 20yr olds to raking in 40 yr old divorcees with teenagers and adult children.

Doesn't every woman want to date a guy that'll bond with her kids by doing keg stands and burning rubber?
