Would this scenario leave the SEC without a playoff bid

UGA loses to Auburn, but still wins the East. UGA then beats the West rep in the title game. Whether that be a 2 loss Auburn or Bama, or a 1 loss MSU or OM.

Would they select a 2 loss SEC champ over a 1 loss power 5 champ? Would they select a 1 loss MSU or OM over a team they lost to in the championship game?

I would think the SEC has earned a spot with it's champion no matter what, but that would put a lot of pressure on the committee.

If so, it would most certainly be Auburn's fault.

To further expand on the scenario.

Oregon wins out-In
FSU wins out-In

Baylor/KState win out-?
Mich St wins out-almost certainly in
Ohio St-?

It's always auburns fault, and all these playoff scenarios are making my head hurt.

Oregon, FSU, Baylor/Kstate, Michigan St, all 1 loss or better and the SEC with only 2 loss teams?

SEC is out and CFB goes

Could still technically have two 1 loss teams, but neither would be conference champs...

Here's how the SEC doesn't get a bid.

Follow closely here.

Florida beats Georgia.

Missouri runs the table from here on out.

Weird shite happens in the West.

And by weird shite I mean Arky beats somebody and Auburn loses again, etc.

Then, Missouri wins in ATL.

That's how the SEC doesn't get a bid.

If every SEC team is 2 loss or worse then I think the SEC is out if they can find 4 <=1 loss teams. They'd be so happy.
