Would the state of Mississippi burn to the ground if either of the first two happened?

Hugh Freeze, Ole Miss: A year ago, Freeze — who grew up in Oxford, Miss. — would have left without even thinking twice. Now he has a team competing for a spot in the College Football Playoff. Still, his ability to consistently recruit elite players increases dramatically at Florida.
quote:
Dan Mullen, Mississippi State: It’s not as automatic as you’d think, just because Mullen is a former Florida assistant. He rubbed some people the wrong way in Gainesville, and before this season, was teetering at MSU.
quote:
Steve Spurrier, South Carolina: Don’t laugh; nothing would stroke Spurrier’s ego more than riding in on a white horse and saving his alma mater. How many years does he have left? Five is plenty, and with his mindset and physical shape, probably more.

Spurrier has already emphatically denied that he will return to Florida unless it is to retire permanently.

Sheeesh ... I did not realize, until just now, how far TSN had fallen.
TSN and Street & Smith were the standards back in the day.

Could be any of the 3, or none of the above.
How many SEC Championships did Florida retain prior to Spurrier?

I know I'm an OM fan, but Freeze isn't going anywhere.

Maybe Freeze leaves after the 2015 season.. But you don't walk away from a roster with Tunsil, Robert, Quon, 27, Engram and Tony Conner on it... You just don't.
