Quick question...
I had to stop in the middle of the road the other day because two black buzzards and a gobbler were standing there, I crept through and they allowed me to pass, the turkey to the right and the buzzards to the left, and I didn't see any carrion around, and as I drove off, in my rear view mirror the two buzzards came back on the road but the turkey held off.
I don't know but I been told, a turkey will whip the dogshit out of a buzzard.
What's up with that?

I'm guessing they were eating roadkill. Which if that's the case it was more than likely 3 buzzards. Yes a male turkey has spurs and will frick up a buzzard, it's also around 8-10 lbs bigger, mature.

But there was no road kill. And it wasn't three buzzards.
But thanks for chiming in, arse man.

How have you bowhunters been doing this season?

I've only been able to hunt once so far this year. Every time I had to chance to go the wind was dead wrong. I'll be in a tree Saturday eve and Sunday too.

Yes Sir,
I will be slinging an easton 2613 and a thunderhead at something this weekend chipmunk, squirrel, large toad whatever. Maybe I'll miss and hit a deer in the process!
You don't get tags up here anymore WTF?

I've seen bucks moving hard today. They claim our rut starts first week of November but I think it's started today.

Yea they actually changed it last yr I think. You've got to have tags or "harvest record" for everyone now. It's new to me cause I've always had landowners/honorary tags. Which are nonexistent
