Hold serve at home, win at USCe and win 1 in Nashville I think gets this team into the dance.

the threshold isn't nearly that high. That is what WN predicts for us (21-9) which projects to a 37 RPI. With a top 4 SEC finish that guarantees, we'd also get a bye in Nashville and 1-1 puts us in the semifinals of the SEC tourney. Do all that and we're looking at about a 7 seed

People are underestimating us because we have no "good" wins but RPI, league finish, and no bad losses are all excellent. Our resume isn't bad now and you're projecting improvement to it.

Might as well demand improvement to it...

Intermittent access.

We're in the final week of the MRX at JRTC.

latest Lunardi bracket 2/19 has us as a 10 seed. The SEC has 6 with LSU being the lowest seed at 11 but still not requiring a play-in. I noticed colleyvilleAg started up his bracketology on TA. It's usually a good read and he's got a good handle on things.

A solid, if not at times sloppy win over Auburn. 20 wins has been achieved. And for the moment sitting in third place. Win the remaining two and it's a done deal for 3rd gong into Nashville.

6-1 on the tossups in CSGC's original prediction. There's the difference record wise. I must give kudos to Kennedy for making the staff changes that he did. They have paid off handsomely for him.

So it looks like my "best case scenario" is still the best we can do.

Very true CSGC. Record wise, should that occur, who would have called it before the season? I certainly would not have.

Obviously we need to beat Bama but I can see both sides of the issue with regards to the LSU-Arkansas game

If LSU wins, it pumps their RPI but it makes them the 5 seed. We will in all likelihood be the 4 seed which means our first SECT game would be vs them. Beat them and hurt their RPI and it really gives us zero diversity to our resume as all of our top wins are vs same team. Lose to them and it muddies the waters on our best wins.

If LSU loses to Arky, they may end up the 6 seed and then would face OM in the QF while we would face UGA. That gives us a shot at a double whammy - beat a different top 50 team and LSU also progresses by beating OM (who they've already beaten twice). I checked at RPI forecast and LSU's rpi for L @ Arky, W vs Auburn, W vs OM, L vs Arky is actually 48. So they can be a top 50 wins regardless.

I'm on the Fire Kennedy bandwagon. If he couldn't win today with his back against the wall, he won't win a tournament game when we get there with more talent. He just doesn't have it.

Yes. I'm mad. But I don't think I'm overreacting.

I've hated Kennedy as a coach from year 1. I don't think he deserves to still be here. We are keeping him because the great class coming in, but I don't think it's worth it.

SC has only won 5 SEC games all year (likely to lost to UT later)... can we win 5 straight to make it to the big dance?

I was really hoping A&M would make it so I'd have a team to cheer for.

No, we are keeping him because Hyman is too much of a pussy to fire somebody with Parkinson's.

Kennedy has literally everything but gameday coaching.

Great person, great recruiter, great wife, but he is so bad on the sidelines.
