You guys had 62k in your stadium last week and that was third highest attendance ever. Not to mention 25% of the crowd was wearing orange to watch a 18 point underdog with a 3-3 record going in. We had 68k at an open practice in August. Long term Tennessee will be better off. Blue blood programs don't stay down forever as shown by Alabama, Oklahoma, USC, Notre Dame, LSU ect.

I was surprised it worked out as well as it did. That said, still lost

Naw. We'll be the new Ole Miss after 30 more years of irrelevance. We'll be competing for the east the next 2 years.

That game just crushed us as a fan base. No sugar coating about it. Not all is lost, we are still recruiting lights out and we have a lot left to play for this year and 2015. But that loss was a stain on the Butch Jones era.

Vols are 0-4 vs Muschamp. That says it all.

I agree. Muschamp is a joke

Since when has LSU been a blueblood?

You realize 2 of those were against Dooley who is ranked as one of the worst CFB coaches ever?
At any rate, I'm not despondent or downtrodden. We have all we need save an OL but you can't win many games in the conference without and OL. The good news is that help on the OL is coming and Blair will also be ready next year. And I expect even our ragtag group will get better and won't be so ragtag next year with some ballers + experienced linemen under our belts. We all know our future is bright - at least those of us with brain cells - but we're damn tired of waiting and several key losses in a row, trigger Post-traumatic Dooley Disorder and Battered Fan Syndrome.

UT should compete next year. UGA, USCe, Bama, and to a lesser extent, UF are all breaking in new starting QBs for 2015. If you don't compete next year, then I have no clue when you will.
I agree with all of this. I think we will be alright, it just sucks to suck in the meantime.

That's crazy... They signed 89 freshman last year... Give them a chance to grow up...

Yep, and we're signing 50 more in February.

That happened this year too, not much to show for it.
