Let's examine a year by year comparison of Les Miles vs. Houston Nutt in the SEC.

2005-2006
Les Miles wins both of these games. Likely because he was playing with Saban's players.

2007
Nutt wins in Death Valley with Arkansas.

2008
Nutt wins in Death Valley again with Ole Miss.

2009
Nutt wins in the "spike it with no time left" game.

2010-2011
Houston Nutt was too busy basking in the glory of his back to back Cotton bowls to take these games seriously. So, Nutt gracefully retired and let Saban take over the domination.

Les is winning the head to head record 3 to 4. But who would you rather have as your team's head coach?

Are you going to ignore Saban losing to Nutt in 2002 for a play-in to the SEC champ game?

Damn you Matt Jones!

Les Miles and Houston Nutt are very comparable. Both held their programs back considering the talent they recruited

I loved Houston Nutt in the SEC as much as I love Les Miles in the SEC.

Houston Nutt can't even get the SMU job. LSU is a Ferrari. Nutt is a dump truck driver.
