We need to be very careful with the Lizards. Their defense has played well lately. Muschamp, and the entire team, knows he will be fired, so they can be loose and going for broke. I hope Richt and Pruitt are getting the entire team up for a real fight.

on paper this is the most lopsided the game has been since the late 70s (for us, I mean)

We should win this going away

That's what everyone said about South Carolina.

That's what should've happened the last few years but we've scraped by. I think we win and I hope we cement Muschamp's firing but I doubt we win by more than a TD.

this isn't remotely similar.

SC was ranked at the time, we were playing at their home, we had lost 3/4 to them, and we were still figuring out who we are.

UF is unbelievably bad, like one of their worst teams in decades. Their coach will be fired this year, they're coming off a blowout loss to missouri on homecoming, and we've won 3 in a row.

We win easy by two touchdowns. Florida is about as bad as Vandy.

the '13 game?

Can you find them? Not doubting you but I'd like to see them. I don't think I've ever proclaimed we would win going away in knoxville.

The Missouri defense/special teams scored 35 points off the lizard offense. I like our odds.

We should have beaten a horrible USCe team on the road.

We lost.

We should have blown out a horrible UTee team at home.

We won, but were outplayed and just managed to scrape out a win.

We need to bring our A Game to each contest, each half, or we could be in trouble.

But I definitely like how we are trending.

I've said before that the only time in my life I was 100%, absolutely certain we wouldn't lose to UT was in 2004. So ever since then I'm always leery of playing them.

I just can't help but look at the matchups and think that virtually every single category or any matchup up for comparison comes out in our favor. The ONLY advantage they have is playing in neyland, where Richt is 4-2.

And we haven't seen a UT team this bad since Dooley's first season in 2010, where we won by about 30.

I've said it all week that I expect us to come out flat and not look all that sharp. I'm not predicting a 45-3 blowout. But this game isn't going to be all that close. I feel confident we'll cover the spread, and if we are anywhere NEAR our A game should win by 21+

The difference in these 2 teams right now is staggering. We are simply a much, much better football team, even without our best player.

I quoted your qualifying statements too to make it fair. I guess it wasn't as bad as I thought, but they have similar themes to your UF posts...

thanks

I did say I thought we'd cover the spread, which we did not.

And to be fair, before kneefest started we were up by 17. But alas, I was ultimately wrong.

BUT, this upcoming game is different! Blowout city boys!!!

Oh yea I know. And UF has the type of defense that'll give anyone fits. Hopefully we can get some defensive and special teams scores on them. I do think once their defense is on the field all day we will have success.

I say it's a repeat of what happened to them this past weekend against Mizzou. I say we put the last nail in the coffin for Muschamp. Yeah I know it's UGA vs. UF but we will have key players back to make the win more promising. 45-10

I don't disagree but they lost to Georgia Southern last year. At the Swamp. And we beat them by a field goal. They were awful in 2012 and Jordan Reed was 5 yards from making it a 2 point conversion away from OT.

I'm not saying we're not a vastly superior team...but we never play that way in that game. Just like South Carolina.
