So what's the point in these tongue-in-cheek statements that he doesn't truly believe just to spite the rest of his colleagues? He isn't even giving college football analysis at this point. It has turned into a live flame war when he's on.

I'm surprised Russillo stopped watching NBA preseason long enough to pay attention to college football. It can be August, and Russillo will talk about the NBA. He drags SVP show down and when SVP isn't there the show is really in the toilet. Not to mention that Russillo is just a whiny bitch in any disagreement.

Haha but Oregon losing by 20 to Arizona at home is just a tough loss. His logic makes no sense.

They lost by one possession. Check your own logic.

Kannell is trying to act like this is all part of some elaborate scheme he came up with? Hahahahahaha, yea, ok.

I watched Zona go to the wire with UT-San Antonio. It's a bad loss.

In terms of losses, here's how they rank in terms of bad:

1. Getting shut out at home (regardless of score)
2. Getting shut out and blown out away from home
3. Getting shut out away from home
4. Getting BLOWN OUT at home when you're a heavy favorite
5. Losing at home when you're a heavy favorite
6. Losing at home
7. Getting blown out away from home
8. Losing away from home when you're a favorite
9. Losing away from home
10. Losing a championship game/bowl game in a manner that doesn't already apply to 1-10.

Oregon's loss to Arizona is a 5
South Carolina's loss to A&M is a 4
A&M's loss to Alabama is a 2

I liked where Finebaum told Kennell that all he ever did was try to make people mad with what he said....

When oregon lost to Arizona, most people said that is a bad loss and Oregon sucks

Don't you think it had more to do with Arizona almost losing to San Antonio and looking like pure shite before the oregon game?

The SEC has actually performed poorly in other bowls.

If by poorly you mean better than any other conference I guess so.

Wat.

FWIW Scott has acknowledged recently on air that the ratings were much higher over the period of time he (Scott) was on vacation. I like scott but I think a lot of times his opinions just piggy back off of Ryen.

Kanell tried to say that Oregon plummeted after that loss, which wasn't the case as Russillo pointed out.

notre dame beat stanford their schedule isnt weak at all imo they play teams all over the country this yr including fsu, stanford, asu, usc, etc not bad plus they were very impressive in that fsu game especially golson i dont think its crazy to say they could beat bama on a neutral field arkansas gave them all they could handle 2 weeks ago lol

Even Kennel said ND does not have a good win. Stanford already has 3 losses.

Oregon and Alabama lost the same week

Oregon went from #2 to #12
Alabama went from #3 to #7

difference is Ole Miss was ranked #11 and Arizona was not ranked. but both teams at that point were unbeaten and unproven.

Oregon lost at home. Alabama lost on the road.

Oregon was a 22.5 pt favorite. Alabama was a 4.5 - 6 pt favorite.

Come on.
