Well, I think Georgia plays Miss State in the regular season so we should know that soon enough. We'll all see which is the big dawg.

for some reason I'm not really sold on them.

Sure they're a very good team, but the best in the country? I don't really buy it yet. I'm curious to see how they do against alabama. If they win that one I'll fully buy in.

Doesn't Georgia enjoy the conference's longest active losing streak in the SECCG or do they share it with Arkansas?

most of us keep our kool aid drinking on our board. Hell I started a thread this morning over there about expectations and just about everyone seems to be pretty even keeled.

You don't see a bunch of us starting threads like this one.

Turns out, somehow Arkansas made three CGs. Carry on.

UT has lost 3 in a row if memory serves. 01, 04, 07.

Here's how I see it:

MSU - Very solid. Probably not the best in the SEC when other teams are playing their best, but I think MSU is more likely to play at a consistently high level, if that makes sense.

Ole Miss - Really don't know. Great defense, solid O, but I think they're due for a flop.

Auburn/Alabama - Both teams have the potential to be the best in the conference on a given day. I still like us to be the more likely team on top, but who knows. I think Alabama reverts to Arky game Alabama at some point, and Auburn probably has too hard of a slate to stay up and playing well enough each game. But I like either's chances in the SECCG/playoff if they can get there.

UGA - Again, I can't tell. Looked great, then sloppy and pedestrian, then pretty good again. I think they'll get a solid push from someone other than AU, but I don't know who it'll be. I'm tempted to put them in the Auburn/Alabama category of probably being better than MSU/OM at their best, but I need to see more.
