I well do, it also had an overlapping twenty years where LSU owned Bama in Legion/Bryant-Denny.

LSU did win a lot in BDS/Legion Field, but I don't remember any multiple decade long streaks.

Y'all usually play Louisiana State pretty good but you are silly if you think Tiger Stadium is not that intimidating. It always gets voted toughest place to play for opponents.

Series stands just 17-15-1 Bama since the Bear went underground..that two games over mendoza thanks to CNS arrival in TTown and his 5-3 mark as Tide HC.

What is LSU's obsession with piss?

So one guy posting "piss" suddenly equals "LSU's" obsession ???

ONE person = an entire university, an entire university fanbase, millions of fans, alumni, etc.?

K.

Conversely, what is Ole Miss's obsession with shooting the bird?
Because that's all anyone in red and blue does when we visit Oxford...

Teams ranked in the top ten don't generally consider anything a "breakout" game. Last year's debacle in Oxford could have been considered such, even though LSU did their annual Christmas gift-wrapped loss performance. Also, in '99 LSU had one of their worst years ever and OM was a superior team fwiw. This is the first time since that year that the consensus has picked the Rebs to win in B.R.

Yeesh we have a winning record since then after everything that happened in the 90s and early 2000s?

You should be ashamed.

It has been a very good series over the years. I think we have probably been one of bamas toughest visiting opponents throughout the years

Even if I weren't, the numbers back it up.

And you don't think Texas A&M and Alabama are capable of scoring a shitload of points? Because they are, and neither did against Ole Miss.

I think A&M has been exposed. No running game hurts. Bama hasn't been impressive on the road.

I think OM has a great defense...just not the doomsday defense you think they have. LSU will attack them differently than every other team they have played. Not saying we will run for 250 but if we mix in some 3rd down conversions and keep OM defense on the field early it could be a long night for the rebs.

A&M has been exposed as a no-defense having clownfraud, but they still put up a goddamn boatload of yards against South Carolina.

Now, I know SC isn't great either, but the yards they put up would have been impressive even against a Sun Belt team.

And Alabama has arguably the SEC's most talented offense. You're just trying to downplay it out of convenience.

It's the best defense in the country. No reasonable person disagrees with that statement. Deal with it.

I think Ole Miss' defense is the best combination rushing/passing in the country.

I think Alabama is a pretty close 2nd, especially with the emergence of the young pass rushers.

However, Ole Miss' DBs ability to cover and wreck running games puts them over the top.

Alabama is easily right on Ole Miss' heels.

We also have an advantage when it comes to turnovers. We lead the SEC in interceptions with 15.

What about Louisville? No one impressed with their lead in yards/g and 4th in points allowed performance thus far?

I will admit I just haven't watched Louisville much.

The advanced stats love them, so they must be pretty good. I will be curious to watch them against FSU next week.
