To be clear, you are so wrong, you almost circled all the way back around and were right. Instead, you're just as wrong as you can be.

You know, since 1963 OM has only been ranked higher than LSU three times for this game...three times! This game is one of the only ones LSU has had a hard time getting up for due to that reason. This is not the case this year. All OM fans know this has been their superbowl for years. Proof of that is the continuous losses you have had to other teams in the West all of these years. That said, things are muuuuuuch different for this game, than usually in the past. Gameday is on campus for the first time ever for this rivalry, and our team has alot to prove. If I were OM, with so much on the line, I would be a little bit intimidated of TS on Sat. night if I were you

They both look pretty shitty. Who puts a flower on a football trophy? Couldn't LSU come up with something better than that? I'd rather play for a gold plated bourbon bottle. It would be a more accurate representation of both fanbases.

Ha ha. I agree...it looks terrible. But why not just use something similar to the old cotton bowl trophy with the magnolia instead?

I know the arrogance of you guys will not allow yourselves to be objective, but the truth is that most of the current Ole Miss fanbase, that has been to an LSU/Ole Miss game in BR over the last 20 years, hasn't really experienced the real tiger stadium experience. You will this Saturday night. Most of the time, during the last 20 years, Ole Miss comes in as a bottom feeder of the SEC, and LSU has been more focuses on the elite of the SEC. I know Ole Miss fans don't get, or believe this, but it's true. I've been to all of the last 5 games in BR....and the crowd and atmosphere there is always very subdued, compared to other big games against Alabama, Auburn, and Florida. Saturday night, you will get to have the real experience. Ole Miss may win, but the atmosphere will be nothing like you think it will be if you are basing it on the last 8-10 meetings. You guys ALWAYS get up for LSU...you admit that yourselves. LSU hasn't been up for Ole Miss since 2003...and that was in Oxford. Believe what you will...and oh, go to hell ole miss.

nailed it. i was fixing to post the same thing. tiger stadium when LSU is the underdog doesn't happen often, but when it does, the atmosphere is very different from when some crap team, like any Ole Miss team from 2004-2013, comes to town.

After the Ole Miss mascot search, I think we all know who the creative problem was on this endeavor.

So, I suppose that you've got a link saying we designed the trophy? If so, post it. Otherwise, [link=(That's demonstrably false in terms of how it happened.)]the trophy was designed by a Senior at LSU[/link]

I'll admit we don't mercy kneel often, but when we do we like to do it in the Rebels one yard line.

So according to your posts...

LSU has problems getting up for Ole Miss.

LSU will be up for this game finally because even though Ole Miss plays you tough every year, we finally have some ranking behind it.

Ole Miss plays this game as their superbowl.

Ole Miss has a great team this year.

Ole Miss 24 - LSU

If I were you, I would be intimidated by a great Ole Miss team that plays you tough even when we suck.

Congrats, you have just made the same argument that LSU fans make every other year when Ole Miss sucks as to why LSU will shite kick Ole Miss. Funny how the tables have turned.

WITH INPUT FROM YOUR STUDENT GOVERNMENT!

Holy crap. Read your link.

Not to mention the logo, which is an absolute abomination was designed entirely by Ole Miss.

So now that that's settled, you have no idea what you are talking about.
