Wonder if he's even looking to they back in though?

Surprising what a lot of money can do to someone's retirement.

How bout Graham at Arizona state?

I like Graham. Only worry is if he struggled the first year or 2, would he bail. I really like him if he can bring Norvell. If not, I would rather have others.

After he beats TCU this weekend, people are going to joining the Holgorsen train.

How about Jim Harbaugh? Some think he'll be looking for a job soon.

Would hate it unless he had all proven assistant coaches around him that could recruit.

Petersen, is the guy you should go after. Guy beat good D1 programs with a school that was little more than a glorified DII program. If you can get him, he just changed jobs, but you are Fl after all, so you just might.

Muschamp,, still think he's a great DC, and if Stec moves on this year for a HC job I hope Pinkel will try and snatch him up, but I figure someone like Sumlin will beat us to the punch. (they always do)

There are a lot of DII coaches who do surprising things with little talent. I imagine the step to different athletes can be difficult, but what we need is an imaginative coach. An HC with a nose for offensive scheming even without the talent to do so.

I think our offense as a whole is in absolute shambles, and will be hard to build the first year but, with a good hire, can be dangerous in the second.

WM is going to make some team a GREAT DC. I was pulling for him, and I hate that it didn't work out.

Yeah. He's a really good person. Contrary to what some UF fans with limited knowledge of the situation will tell you. He will probably be a really good HC someday as well. Just needs to learn at times, you have to break your own tendencies as a HC if things aren't going the right way.

Per ESPN's Brett McMurphy Mullen and Rodriguez will not be among those considered to replace Muschamp.

Per Foley, He is looking for someone that is a successful offensive HC that will bring offensive spark back to UF.

Top Candidates per Bovada are
Gundy 4/1
McElwain 9/2
Stoops/Mullen 11/2
Shanahan 7/1
Spurrier/Freeze 8/1
Patterson/Malzahn 12/1

Another question I have is what is the chance that alot of our staff is kept with a new head coach? I doubt Roper stays if its a HC that likes to keep play calling duties. But what about Durkin and the staff on the Defensive side of ball. Not sure how much Durkin had his hands in the defense since Muschamp was a defensive head coach. Im partial to keep the defensive side of the ball staff and see what happens when you pair them with a Offensive minded head coach.

Lawing
Summers
TRob
White

I think a few of the above will be retained.

The only real thing that I've noticed as a change is our defense going hard to strip the ball. That just seems different to me this year than any other year.

And really, any d-coordinator is going to have success with the way we recruit on defense (even predating Meyer).

I remembered reading a quote from a player 2 years ago that Quinn also taught them that way too.

As for coaching, someone mentioned Justin Fuente from Memphis on Twitter. Anyone watch Memphis?

They have been a very good offensive team this year except for the game against us. At one point I want to say they were top 10 in the country but I'm not positive. Keep in mind the level of competition. They should of beaten UCLA though.

eta: Did not know I had access here.

Not yet on Fuente. Needs 1 more step, then will be ready for a job like UF.

Based on everything I'm reading, I think UF is aiming for a splash hire.
