Sounds like he took a few breaks on the base paths. Disappointing, but not unbelievable.

Nope, I don't fault him, I just thought for sure when the LF booted the ball at the wall that there would be a play at the plate. Y'all had me up and out of my chair trying to run the damn bases for him.

He could have made it if he knew the ball was going to the wall and the outfielder was going to mishandle the ball with a 3rd base coach that was waving him home.
