The next coach of Florida?
They oughta go and get Petrino. The Gators would be very scary in a couple years. Very scary.
Could you imagine!!! The two douchiest coaches in CFB, in the same state! That FLA vs FSU game would be fun to watch again!

I apologized in advance, I looked and didn't see a recent one.
Don't worry about it. This thread comes up a couple times a week for the past 4 or so weeks. MOST were trolling Florida. At least you seem to be sincere with your question.

Go get Dana H at West Virginia. Hire him an incredible DC and they'd be very nasty pretty quickly.

I wouldn't be surprised if they went after someone from the Urban Meyer coaching tree.
I will be shocked if they hire anyone from Urban's tree.

Dana has the same problem Petrino has. The out of the field "activities". Not a good match for Florida.

As many as people want. This is America.

I still think maybe Greg Schiano. They wouldn't have to start over in terms of personnel.

Spurrier. Realizes he just can't get over the hump at USC so goes back and finishes his career at Florida
makes the most sense, he may not win it but he would get the program straitened out before he retires.

Petrino will definitely leave somebody at the altar again

Rich Rod would be the guy I'd go after if I was UF
Posted on 10/21/14 at 8:12 am to Jagd Tiger
Why would they hire him with the realization that he wont win.
"I know you wont win but, just do better than the last guy"
Real confidence booster there.

quote:I agree with this. Florida is the most fertile state in the country for HS skilled position players. An offensive guru that can recruit and leave the D to others would work well.
I don't think UF Goes defensive again, they have proven they can win with a great O and avg D , but not the other way around. Chip Kelly would be perfect storm , however he is having more success in Philly than most believed he would. I do think they go proven head coach , even if not already a P5 head coach. But probably Offensive guru type.
