Until I read all the MSU posts on this thread, I really hadn't thought much about UK upsetting MSU. Now...it seems quite likely. There's just that sense of overconfidence, from a team that historically has had little reason to be confident, that reminds me of so many one-hit wonders who thought they were suddenly invincible.

If you think that the mindset of our posters on a message board reflects the attitude of our team, you should probably have your head examined.

Yea both these mississippi team's fans have gone full retard. Maybe they're just making hay while the sun shines. Darkness is, however, on the horizon. Look for a double mississippi melt down this weekend.

I never said that. I'm just reminded of the similar scenarios in times past where a sudden burst of confidence in the fans ended in a quick and ugly fall from the top.

Damn 5 pages? Have we stopped tGrind?

This does not bode well for MSU at all. I thought we'd lose big. But after seeing how mad grinders are.

Kentucky is going to beat MSU

However LSU only lost by 5 to MSU on a night they played poorly

"Dude if it helps you feel better to believe this fine , the rest of the world saw LSU blown out at home and some garbage time TD's against 3rd stringers to get it close in the wanning seconds."

I won't refute your interpretation bc I don't know who Merlin had in the game, but I'd say he's an idiot then because LSU was one play away with its backup QB. Miss State is very talented and won in spite of their coach.

This thread touches on all facets of fail by every participating poster. anc is clearly pulling the dangerous, and seldom used, "Reverse optimism inflated triple clutch" (trademark pending) tGrind strategy to the point where everybody has been exposed and effected by tGrind. Well played sir. Well played. Even I'm showing small symptoms of the tGrind just by posting this.

ETA: and also consolidated all 4 Kentucky posters in one non-basketball related thread during football season. This one post might have a legit shot at an ESPY this year.

Who told you about the reverse grind? They must be executed for divulging trade secrets.

Could the reverse grind be known as polishing? If so, Evan Stone polishes nobody and does not approve this message. Unless it's the reverse optimism inflated triple clutch, in which case it's not polishing, it's just plain dangerous. Meaning Evan Stone indeed approves this message.

LSU crushed.. absolutely crushed Kentucky. Miss St is going in dry, they're better in nearly every phase of the game compared to LSU.

I'm not particularly worried about scoring on what is the worst statistical defense in the conference. I hope state fans are still great in person despite their growing hubris.

I'm getting a pretty strong no on that. However, they can learn volumes from their LSU beating with regard to what it actually takes to prepare for a real team of athletes, and what you have to bring to compete.

Should be an entertaining game; glad Cobb is not playing.
