We bought Quay. That went swimmingly.

Ultimately, if we are being serious, every single player is breaking the rules and getting something. Bottom line is if you outright buy a guy that isn't where he really wants to be, the chances of him being a bust go through the roof. I never want to "buy" players -- I just want to offer match and let them go where they fit best. Basically just a level playing field.

You also have to wonder why, if it's so obvious, nobody else is snitching on anybody.

It's because everybody's got their hands in the cookie jar.

frick that guy. This is a guy who got his AP vote taken away from him.

MSU is pretty easy to see. Solid recruiting and a stellar QB.

Ole Miss similar. Solid bagman activity for the last 3 years. Respect.

Ole Miss and State are not doing anything that every other team in the league is not doing minus Vanderbilt. They dont snitch on each other because they all do it to a certain extent. Ole Miss has pulled some big recruits as of late but also have some guys that have developed into players along the way. State has a few big names but for the most part they have developed a lot of players nicely. Each teams has gotten better each year consistently. I thought they both would be good this year, but not as good as they turned out to be. Dan LeBetard probably couldnt name 5 guys off each roster. Lol

Does not compute.

As far as star rankings and shite goes, our recruiting has been better than State's. That said, they've been able to get a lot out of lightly recruited guys (Prescott, Dillon Day, De'Runna, etc.) so there's something to be said there.

The only thing shady was how ole midd got that recruiting class after never having a good recruiting like ever.
