If you want to contribute to this week's Football Power Rankings, submit your 1-14 ranking of the SEC teams here or email it to me (email is in my profile). We will randomly pick 2 rankings out of all the reasonable ones submitted. Voting closes Monday, and the winners will be announced in the Football Power Rankings thread on Tuesday.

Here are some suggestions that we give to the regular voters:
quote:

We aren't going to tie your hands with a "formula" but we encourage you to use some of the following: the past week's results, team momentum/trend, conference record, rankings (SOS, AP, Coaches, College Playoff Selection Committee Poll (whatever they decide it call it), etc), team stats, OOC record, overall record, eye-test. We trust that you're able to form your own combo of these elements without our guidance, but we would like you to emphasize what a team has most recently accomplished.

Week 7 PR (last week's)
1) Mississippi State (27)
2) Ole Miss (3)
3) Auburn
4) Alabama
5) Georgia
6) Texas A&M
7) LSU
8) Arkansas
9) Kentucky
10) Florida
11) Missouri
12) Tennessee
13) South Carolina
14) Vanderbilt

Get your rankings in by the end of the night. Thanks

I'll tell you WHY its auburn too.

MSU is a more quality opponent than ole miss.

Auburn has better wins. We beat a very good K state team on the road.

we beat down lsu....not some atm team that was already au 2012 levels of done.

1. Mississippi State - More impressive wins and better offense
2. Ole Miss - Best defense in the country by far
3. Alabama - Most complete 1-loss team
4. Auburn - More lapses than Alabama
5. Georgia - Best team in the east
6 (tie). LSU, A&M - Both teams unbeaten vs. the East. LSU is winless vs. the west.
8 (tie). Arkansas, Missouri - Missouri would have Arkansas' record with Arkansas' schedule. Arkansas would not have lost to Indiana.
10. Kentucky
11. Florida
12. South Carolina
13. Tennessee
14. Vanderbilt

In all honesty, Florida could have and should have lost to both Kentucky and Tennessee and be 1-5.
