1937 UT Program:

1961 Bama (legion field program):

UT Program "Hide yo wifes, hide yo kids, the Gumps are coming":

Bama (Your knight in shining armor) Program:

Vols 1968 Celebrating over 50 years of TSIO:

The way we used to play (both teams w/home jerseys) and how many of us want to see us play again:

Would like to use this thread to post more cool TSIO stuff. Stories, images, old programs, ticket stubbs and like. Even trivia is welcome.

I'd go less mean and go with the back when it actually was TSIO.

What's the reason for not wearing home jerseys? I'd love to see that.

The NCAA changed the rules saying that both teams coudn't wear home jerseys. We retaliated with an ugly protest jersey that was partially orange and partially white. Now the NCAA allows teams to wear home unis but only if the other team agrees to it and you get a penalty.

I've heard that UCLA plays their rival in traditional colors now - both schools petitioned the NCAA for that to happen and now they can wear them when they play without penalty. We need to get our schools to allow this. Maybe if fans of both teams brought it up our ADs would take note.

I think Kiffin proposed to wear the home jerseys back in 2009 but Saban/Mal said no.

It would be an awesome touch. Wish they would go back to that.

I would've turned down Kiffin too he was douchebag. Maybe now we can get the programs at peace with this we've got a Bammer AD and you've got Bammer/Vol AD.

Alabama is still being petulant because Fulmer turned them in.

UF/UGA will do the Red/Blue this year. I love the UCLA/USC homes when they do it, so I'd be fine to see the both UT/Bama do this. Although, I do like Bama's white unis quite a bit, though

I don't think it really has anything to do with that. Its more of a "we love the status quo a little too much" kind of deal.

You need to think again.

Read Mal's statement about it. The subtext is all there.

First good to see you around Sparty. Hope you're holding.

The UF/UGA game will look nice like that and I agree about UCLA/USC. I'd love for UT-BAMA to bring back the traditional colors - it's a nice touch and even has a bit of extra symbolism in that the crimson and orange are reminiscent of the fall trees.

I honestly think teams get to control happy about the issue. Unless both teams wear very similar colors there's no reason to deny a standard uniform request.

Maybe Bama just doesn't know what color UT would wear as their home color anymore. Orange, Gray, Black.....

those are cool.

There are a couple of UGA fans that come to the DSOR in AU or Athens and put up for display programs from the old games. They have quite a few
