is he's a tough bastid..that targetting hit on him was vicious and he shook it off and was even pissed off a bit. we've had some damn seriously tough QBs these past 6-7 years imo.

He's a great leader, and has an arm when he trusts it as he's shown. If he and the receives continue to gel we are looking at a special year gentlemen.

That kid always holds his head up like his nose bleeding. Bobo should've let Ramsey take over at that point

Mason has really come on the last 2 weeks.

absolutely, he deserves a ton of credit. I'm sure it would've been easy to mentally check out around the UT game when some fans wanted more brice and he threw a few picks which was out of character for him.
But these last 2 weeks he's gone on the road and looked great.

He did exactly what was needed of him to make this team successful. Kudos to Mason. Throw a couple accurate mid/deep balls early and then manage the clock from there. Great game

I think that first series freaked the Arkansas defensive brain trust out.
They planned on defensing the run the entire game and Mason comes out and carves them up. They realized - oops - we're also facing a sophisticated passing attack that we cannot afford to ignore.
And that long TD pass was a Bobo-patented thing of beauty.
1. Outstanding play fake that the defense had to respect.
2. Outstanding pump fake while standing tall in the pocket freezing the DB.
3. Outstanding accuracy, placing the ball where only Conley could catch.
4. Touchdown Dawgs.
A true thing of beauty.

And that play action to Conley was nice to let future teams know that Bobo has that play in his back pocket and can call it up when needed. If Mason can hit a few passes like that each game....I think we will be very very successful

This was kind of weird but during the game u know the telephone that connects to bobo and the coaches in the press box not once did Mason get on there to talk to bobo or whoever but instead Conley, Bennett and even McKenzie went over there to talk. Mason just walked along on the sideline and even sat off by himself while the defense was on the field. May be looking into this too much but Murray was always talking to Bobo and what not. Mason just stayed in the zone and kept to himself

I've been high on Mason ever since he came back from 20 down and a bad start against Tech. A few weak passes in the early games were cause for concern but it's obvious that Hutson has the right stuff mentally.

I agree with jizznot. I jumped to a false conclusion about mason early. I fhink jeffy called me something along the lines of a retarded aardvark.
