I love our team and think we are getting better overall, not sold on us beating ole miss or Alabama. Don't have enough gas to cut through those defenses.

I see Bama beating State and State rebounding in the EB.

3 1-loss teams gridlocked in the standings and national rankings.

Who gets screwed there?

Bama doesn't make the SECCG but makes the playoff. Book it.

Bama has a loss and is still ranked #4. I don't need to tell you how this ends.

I know State and Auburn are at Bama, but I don't see those as gimmes and they have struggled on the road.
A lot of football to be played. Obviously they have the talent to get it done, I could be wrong but I see them losing again.

Would depend on strength of schedule of their East opponents.

State plays Vandy and Kentucky.
Ole Miss plays Vandy and Tennessee.
Alabama plays Tennessee and Florida.

Almost for sure Alabama, because Vandy isn't winning a conference game.

Unless, of course, I'm wrong and this tie-breaker only eliminates the worst team. And then it's head-to-head with the top 2 remaining. I haven't seen that clarified anywhere yet.

I wanna see Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Miss State all at 10-1 headed to rivalry Saturday. All with losses to one of each other. That'll be a hairy situation.

How mad would you be if they did? I am guessing VERY.

I think Alabama wins that 3 way breaker (with MSO & OM), just as Auburn would win it for the right to go to the SECCG.

There's a pretty good chance that an 11-1 team from the West who lost that tiebreaker could make the final 4 as the last team in.

UK needs to lose 2 more conference games. One of these is MSU.
Vandy needs to lose all conference games.
MSU has to beat OM.
Bama has to win out.

That would be a 3 way tie between OM, MSU, Bama.
OM would be a 1-15 east record
MSU and Bama would be 4-11. That would eliminate OM, then you go to a 2 way tie in which Bama would have beat MSU.

Bama wins the west and goes to ATL.

better question, will the teams that don't go to Atlanta still hang a banner?

Let's see, everybody wins out except Auburn beats Ole Miss and Bama beats Miss St. I can go for that.

Then we the Aubs at BD stadium.

OM beats State in the Eggbeaters bowl and goes to SECCG, and we start practicing for the Championship Series. I like that scenario a whole lot.

If it is a three way tie in the west and one of those teams is AU, AU will go to Atl.

The deciding tie breaker would be SEC record of east opponents and AU wins that regardless of who the other west teams are.

If Ole miss slips on AU or State. It sucks to be screwed due to scheduling. Guess we are just going to have to win BTFO all the other teams. Good luck with Bama AU and State. Me finks we dun woke up da beast!
