Can our secondary contain Cooper..

Gonna have to bracket him with a Safety on him which leaves opportunities for White and Howard to get some grabs. Now that Simms knows how to go through his progressions, he is becoming a much better passing QB. If Bama can get the running game going, it's going to be tough. Especially now that Simms is a threat as a runner too.

For the love of all that is holy, your football team's quarterback's name is Sims. He is televised wearing a shirt with this spelling weekly.

I agree with tbone... It's pretty embarassing when you misspell a name as simple as "blake sims". Almost like writing "the katt in the hatt", but without the least bit of irony.

Good, good.

I think losing to this year's LSU team automatically disqualifies a team from being in the trap game category.

I think the key is to set the tone early like in all our other big games. Come out and get a few stops and jump out to a 14-0 lead. Pressure sims and contain the run game...no big plays make Bama earn it. Making stops in the redzone like against AU is huge.

On offense we need to establish the run. Their secondary is shaky and if we establish a run game we can open up the pass and eat at the clock.

Thank you for pointing out my grammatical error. I didn't know that these posts would be graded Professor Bassmaster. I understand "playing" is an action verb that uses an adverb such as "well" to further describe it rather than an adjective like "good" which would modify a noun, such as a-hole. However, as a Doctor, I often use "well" as a predicate adjective meaning "healthy" rather than the more formal adverb usage. After researching the University of Alabama's mediocre, albeit successful, performances this season on the football field, I would completely agree with your criticism of my assessment. They seemed lethargic and anemic at times earlier before saturday indicating that they were, at times, not well. Even though they played a bad aTm team that played well... badly, they seemed much better. They seemed healthy. They seemed well and played well.
If you wish to discuss further, I will be happy to meet you somewhere. I believe Sonic is the spot of choice.
Thanks again.
