With Alabama playing so good all the sudden Bama is really starting to scare me. What are some of the key things that will have to happen in order for the dawgs to knock off #4 Bama in their house this year?

Redzone efficiency. BAMA has played much more bend but don't break this year. When State has the ball, they need red zone TDs...

We'll let you borrow Senquez Golson for the game. That should do the trick.

Win the turnover battle. That's the only way you can beat them or have a chance.

Hold the refs to only one critical missed call.

So basically try to create turnovers on defense & when we get in the redzone we have to get 6. That sounds like a plan... Mullen will prob go for it on fourth down near the endzone unless the FG is going to be any less than 30 yards. We don't have a very good kicker & Mullen knows it and doesn't seem to trust him too much either.

Hold their run game to 125 or less.

Don't allow Simms to be a runner.

Move the game to Starkville. Alabama is a monster at home this year.

Make Sims beat you and confuse their secondary. Worked for OM.

Pressure Simms. MSU can stop the run. Simms has played like crap on the road in pressure environments. At home he has been all world because he was comfortable and not pressured.

MSU gets to Simms early, there is a good chance he starts fricking up a lot. If he gets comfortable MSU is in trouble.

Second thing is get TDs in the red zone as already mentioned.

Those are the two keys. Handle them and MSU wins. Don't and Bama will put up 35+ and MSU will lose. MSU put up 38 on AU but you can't count on 4 turnovers leading directly to 28 points again.

Oh yeah.. If it was in Vegas I would feel a lot better about it. Hoping I get to go to this game. Something nobody has mentioned which might be a good thing... Can our secondary contain Cooper.. Our D-Line will be causing havoc, that should help.

They should scare you. They have a lot of talent but struggled early with an inexperienced QB. You caught a break catching LSU with a true sophomore making his first SEC start. Sims is a 5th year senior making his 7th SEC start. Big difference.

Create turnovers, limit the run game, mush rush to create pressure and keep Sims in the pocket.

ETA: Punt to Christion Jones.
