Dr. No, the first James Bond film, is shown in U.S. theaters.
The Coca-Cola Company introduces its first diet drink, Tab cola.
Patsy Cline is killed in plane accident.
Hitchcock releases special effects extravaganza "The Birds".
Yogoslavia names Tito President for life.
Zip Codes implemented in the US.
Kennedy is assasinated.
Martin Luther King delivers "I have a Dream "Speech.
The Beatles release their first album.
Cleopatra and To Kill a Mockingbird are box office winners.
Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly owned the charts.

Bama is currently in the top 5 with a black quarterback. I wonder if it means anything with regards to OM and their black...er, seating section.

Here's one to ponder - no black man has ever won a football championship of any kind while wearing an Ole Miss uniform.
