He will make it through the year until after the FSU game. Then he will be fired.

Wouldn't shock me if he didn't make it to the end of the day.

After FSU he's gone. He'll be fired that Monday.

Zook was fired on a Tuesday I believe IIRC.

Should have been fired last year. Who didn't see this season coming?

UF should fire him now. That team has quit and it's obvious. The players need a change.

Just saw a picture where only two players for UF stayed and sang alma mater after game. Now, I love Florida losing as much as anyone, but that's ridicullous. Get him out. Florida being good is good for the SEC.

Overrated fricker. Places got worse everywhere he went. And if you think he was running defense at LSU, you dumb.

This.

Florida players have officially quit. Nothing to lose by letting another coach try to salvage the season. Worked for USC last year after they fired Kiffin.

It would be so hilarious if he beats FSU and UGA and gets retained

Agreed. I don't understand letting a lame duck coach just continue to go through the motions when it's clear to him, the assistants, the players and the fans that he's gone at year's end.

At the very least Florida would get a head start on its coaching search and start openly putting out feelers to guys like Harbaugh instead of playing the cat and mouse game of "erm well we have a coach right now."

My first thought at seeing it was "damn, they even have fair weather players!"

(I kid, I kid with love, Gators)

Seriously. shite is going to get really, really ugly if he lets him ride it out until later this season. It's not often you can justify a mid-season firing but after last night's debacle and the season to this point, I don't know many who would think it isn't.

Do it like UK did with Joker. Fire him (because he's not going to resign with the money he has coming) and allow him to coach the remaining games unless he decides otherwise.

He said that he and his staff were going recruiting this week and weekend.
Now I ask you why in the hell would you let that idiot go and talk to any high school recruit. He's dead man walking and everyone knows it.
I hope he gets fired tomorrow.

If they are quitters, just another coach wont help poor character.
Muschamp should be fired because he has no direction and will not be there next year. Getting rid of him now would stabilize recruiting quicker.

I blame UGA they produced this failure.
And I blame Foley for hiring a Leghumper.
What next Foley are you going to hire an FSU graduate?
