But hey, I'm a fan, it's hard not to. Let's just imagine the possibilities of the Auburn weekend. VERY good chance we're 8-1.

They still have a tough test against Ole Miss and 2 soft ones against USCe and A&M. But if they can win those 3 games, we're looking at a for sure top 10 matchup, and depending on how things shake out, a top 5 matchup. That weekend could be absolutely epic. Huge recruiting weekend as well.

Oh and save me your bullshite about focusing one game at a time. We're fans. That doesn't apply to us.

My biggest concern right now is us losing to Auburn and somehow Missouri winning out.

Is it just a coincidence that I just ordered a new black Georgia button down?

I can afford one game a year and blew it on Clemson.

I can't imagine the atmosphere in Athens that day.

You're correct, our attitude isn't the one that counts. Unfortunately, typically when the fans starting thinking big and looking ahead, the players are right there with them. Seen it too many times. We'll face the best defense we've seen all year in Jacksonville, IMO. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Florida hit us right in the mouth early in that game. If they manage to flip our turnover margin, future top 10 matchups won't be a concern.

The real debbie downer? Because of work I will not be watch AU, GT, or Charleston Southern live. And I just found out I won't be able to watch the SECCG. What does that mean? They will be great games because I can't watch.

True, I'm a debbie downer. I'm happiest when the fan base sounds like Larry Munson and concerned when they feelin' scrong. Interestingly, you are apparently a gatorhata who just mentally skipped right past that game with ease.

Yea, because I can. I'm not playing or coaching this team. What I do mentally has nothing to do with whether we win or lose.

No doubt. Just seems odd for someone who chose their user name based on hating gators. But, if I had to guess the team is feeling a little confident about that UF game too. They can use the transitive property of football like the rest of us; UGA >> Missouri >> Fla. I hope the coaches can convince them that fans and media are backward looking, because we can lose to everybody left on the schedule ex CS.

I think the coaches are going to be able to use the bye week to get this team focused. You could argue that they would've looked past Arkansas since they're unranked and on a now 16 game conference losing skid. Especially after thoroughly dominating mizzou.

I'm impressed with the way this team has come together recently and they do seem locked in. Plus the coaches will have plenty of coaching to do off of that 2nd half (even though I got the sense that on defense they were just trying to let Arky take the underneath stuff and prevent the quick hit scores which isn't a bad strategy when you're up 38-6. Not fun to watch as a fan but whatever gets the W is what matters at the end of the day)

Was thinking this same thing yesterday too (as a lot of UGA fans were too I think).

I still remember the chills I got walking out on Lumpkin back in 07 and seeing that everyone was actually in black. Most fun experience I have had in Sanford Stadium by far (I wasn't at the LSU game last year). If we are both top 10, especially after how last year's game ended, the atmosphere will be unreal. Thinking about heading down for that one but I have a feeling tickets are gonna be a real bitch to find for a remotely reasonable price.
