Both Mississippi schools will lose at least one game this season. Probably two each.
Georgia will then have the longest current win streak in the SEC.

Just think if we had run Gurley 4 times when we had the 1st and goal against SC after Swann's INT...

Either way, we are in the same place. Don't lose anymore and our dreams come true.

Marshall Morgan definitely deserves some blame on that chip shot, but even the coaches admit that playing that soft zone coverage in the first half was ultimately what cost us that game. Look what our defense has done since that point now that we have utilized our front seven to stop the run and rush the passer. Putting Damien back where he belongs, in the middle, and playing man to man has tremendously improved our secondary. IMO

*Ramik has also gotten better a covering the backs and slot receivers.

While true, when you rely on FG's in rainy/windy weather, there's a good chance it bites you in the butt. Morgan had made 20 straight prior to those 2 misses.

It was a tough loss but neither our offense or defense played well enough to win that game in spite of Georgia having a +2 TO margin. SC had 27 first downs to our 18 and SC's OL gave Thompson the protection he needed to throw 3 TD passes; 1 more than Mason threw which was also one difference in the game.

Not sure I agree that they will lose one and probably two. I mean, obviously one of them will lose at least once. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see them both undefeated going into the Egg Bowl, though.

Worst case scenario for us, in my opinion, is that Alabama beats Mississippi State and Ole Miss beats State, too. If we get beat by Ole Miss in SECCG then Ole Miss and Alabama would go to the playoff and we would sit home. I guess we will just have to win it all.

Moving Swann back to the inside has been the biggest change in my opinion. I don't think he could cover me on the outside but put him inside he turns into The honey badger. 2 forced fumbles, a sack and an interception is a monster game.

Good observation. The commentators yesterday mentioned something to that effect.
