We should keep one game in Little Rock but make it a Power 5 game. None of this Toledo bullcrap. Little Rock is a unique thing and we need to keep it because the golf course is one of the best tailgating atmospheres in the world.

Swap Toledo and Power 5 and I would agree with you.

Are you shitting me? The University paid $475,000 to WMS this year and they still can't fix the fricking game clock? It's been broken for like 5 years now. In the business world, the Little Rock games are not considered "economically viable"

Swap Toledo and Power 5 with FCS the opening weekend of modern gun deer season and I would agree with both of you.

Yeah, but the atmosphere midway through the first quarter when the fans leave the golf course and enter the stadium until mid way through the 3rd quarter when they return to the golf course is "special" and "unique".

Considering the fact that the program loses at least $1 million a game by not playing in Fayetteville AND has to pay another $475,000 to rent a shitty stadium with non-functioning equipment does make it "shite"

Serious question, what does the Arkansas program gain by playing in Little Rock?

Its because the stadium is so close to Central HS, a program that has been outproduced by Greenwood, Charleston, Northside, and Southside as far as turning out SEC athletes.

The obvious answer is the LR game should be moved to Lavaca to be centrally located in and attract all the instate talent.

In my line of work, I go to a lot of Razorback games. Nothing in Fayetteville compares to the atmosphere on the golf course.

The real answer is UALR needs to start a football program.

The underlying problem is Little Rock couldn't produce but a handful of kids for a program there since the school systems are beyond repair.

There needs to be a more permanent use for that stadium or it needs to be imploded and rebuilt from scratch with the most up to date technology available and become a multipurpose stadium that can attract top drawing events.

BUT.... what is there to warrant such an investment? The current way of doing business is cutting the throat of it's premier tennant and all the rest of the tennants have long packed their bags.

I want a game a year in LR because of the tradition and to keep us the entire state's team. Once LR starts putting out talent again we certainly don't want Ole Miss, Memphis St., LSU, OU, Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn to have firmly taken root in our capital city as a favored program.

I have never been a LR hater, but I have never understood why people say that having games there keeps the state together. It's a small damn state for crying out loud. It doesn't take long to drive ANY WHERE.

Think about Texas. Here, we have MANY fans of our HS teams drive hours and take off work early just to go watch our HS teams. frick, I drove all the way to Houston to watch Wylie/Katy in the (then) 5A Div2 championship. That is a solid 6 hour drive. For high school. The distance argument makes me

Those years brought back memories and I was just now looking for some pics online of the Herbstreit classic when shiloh rolled into town. I was there and I have never seen a HS team be so out matched and slaughtered by Trinity.

I have a great pic I found to post that sums up that game, but for some reason I'm not allowed to post pics.

I'm not trolling at all, I'm from Little Rock originally and I went to a ton of games at WMS before I ever went to Fayetteville. I didn't go to a Fayetteville game until they expanded the stadium.

If the reason to stop playing games in Little Rock is $475,000, that's not a good enough reason. It's worth it for the fans.

The reason is that the slumlord WMS has been paid that amount and more over the years and the same issues still exist or have become worse.

Outside of Razorback football games, where does WMS make their money?

Autocross in the parking lot?
