Do you guys think he gets the axe to tomorrow? or does he become interim for rest of the year. I have never seen Florida play this bad ever.

They should all get the axe.

Agree it looks more and more like Cutcliffe up at Duke actually made that offense what it was. I want a refund.

Eh, we had Charlie Weiss who is a proven offensive coordinator.

We've had far too many different position coaches to make this a coordinator problem.

The team is just beaten mentally -- they're not willing to play for Muschamp anymore. It's over for him, and I really hope we can get a decent coach to replace him.

If he isn't gone, I can't watch another Gator game.

The play calling is TERRIBLE that is Roper in the box doing that.

Its gonna be tough no one wants to come in and have to rebuild a program with the expectations they are gonna have.

I can't imagine that we would have the exact same results under three different coordinators, a bunch of different players at all positions -- but there has been some...bizarre play calling.

Honestly, it may...not be that bad. If you're looking at it under a different lens -- you're going to have a solid job for at least 2 years because you'll be able to blame everything on Muschamp who has easily been our worst head coach for...longer than I've been alive.

Good location, decent recruiting capacity, high wage, little culpability for your first two years -- it actually may not be that bad for someone.

Our expectations have never been lower. We just want something better than this. In 2009, our fans were pissed at close wins. Our fans in the stands today have much more patience.

Didn't we just go 4-8 and almost every UF fan was expecting us to Win the SEC East this year.

Crazy stat here Zook went 16-8 in SEC games Muschamp is 15-14.

The saddest thing is that this was supposed to be a relatively easy year -- even with Alabama and LSU.

We've had a bunch of teams at home, the East is weak in general and...damn this is bad.

That's the goal every year. That was us being sunshine pumper-y. But even after each game this year, fans still showed up and the noise was low relative to what it should be. That UT game was an abomination and people were happy just to win.

Look how we're reacting to Treon.

I don't think Treon is the answer the O-Line is terrible.

I agree. Just seems like the fanbase is desperate for anything positive. Even with all the red flags around this season, some of us thought Atlanta was possible.

I don't think that is necessarily true. I think we are a lot like MSU post Croom. Jackie Sherrill run the wheels off of state to get to 10 wins in 99. There were some bad issues in the locker room after that season that only got worse. Croom couldn't coach worth a damn, but he did get the rot out of the program.

If you don't like that example, look at Saban at Alabama. I know it seems 1,000 years ago, but when he came in, most of the chatter was that Bama had been irrelevant for too long in too small a state to become a force again any time soon if ever. He goes 7-6 his first year, wins the Sugar Bowl his next, and a Natty the next.

IMO, the rot and entitlement is gone, and we have a lot of good kids. It would just seem that Muschamp isn't the guy to handle the next step in a rebuild. I don't know why that is, and I don't think it really matters. At the end of the day, it just isn't getting better. We do have good players, but the development has been awful.

It's possible the right guy could come in and do really well here really quickly. I'm not saying win a Natty by 2016, but we could be a force again in the East. The question is will Foley go for a home run hire if there is even one out there?

And...it's still a good job. Good state, good money, good location -- and it can't be any worse than it is now. Literally.

I think we got a chance to get a good hire, but even so -- we're going to have to wait for some results unless we get someone like Dan Mullen. I have no doubt that he could turn the program around in a season -- no problem.

We just have to hope he starts to lose at MSU.

Oh it could get worse. If Foley hires another coordinator that has no experience running a program then what happened tonight will be common place. This hire here has got to be a home run hire. I would settle for whatever coach wins the FCS national championship this year and hope he becomes the UF version of Jim Tressel.

Then again, Gene Chizik.
