If Baylor can't get back ahead of wva and depending on how the fsu/ND game go.

Maybe we should have more bye weeks.

I normally wouldnt think they'd jump but TAMU decided to field a high school team today. Doesn't really matter considering we play Bama later.

Hopefully our win over K State will offset that.

Baylor out and FSU/Irish eliminates 2
Egg bowl eliminates one
Iron Bowl eliminates one.
Finish the season 11-1 and we are in with or without the SEC championship belt.
Just keep winning baby!

AU wins out. Tied with St. but they win west bc head to head victory.
State would need to lose twice ( bama and Ole miss) for us to go to Atlanta right?
Or... State loses once in season and lose in Atlanta to send us to playoffs.
Right?
Hard to believe a top 4 team in AP and coaches poll could be left out.... it IS our 10th anniversary of being left out after all!!!!

If we win out, MSU wins out until the Egg Bowl, and Ole Miss wins out except for us, then we'd likely go to Atlanta

There'd be a three-way tie for the West, and the tiebreaker goes to the conference record of cross divisional opponents.

MSU: UK/VU
OM: UT/VU
AU: UGA/USC

True dat

Vandy won't win a game, USC's already won two

Which gives us Georgia (4-1) +2 over the records of Kentucky (2-2) and Tennessee (0-3).

ETA: So basically, barring a complete Georgia implosion (and maybe not even then), we'd win a three-way tie. But Mississippi State has to drop one somewhere. Not to mention us winning out, which would be unbelievable.

Yep. At least, unlike in 04 , we have a reason if we end up left out. Should have shown up in StarkVegas.....we would be 1 in both polls now.

Looking at those numbers again, assuming Vandy loses out, we win the tie break if Kentucky drops one more game.

Even if Georgia and South Carolina lose out.

ETA: Kentucky's remaining schedule:

vs. 1 Mississippi State
@ Missouri
vs. 10 Georgia
@ Tennessee
@ Louisville

So yeah, we'll win the tiebreaker if it comes to that.
