I feel like I'm the kool aid man and y'all are stewey. I think we are more than capable to beat Bama. Their offense is sputtering so why not?

I do, too. Every one of our division games was/is winnable imo. We've come out on the short end of the stick these last two, though

No, we've been beaten with the long end of the stick

So with Houston leading the country in takeaways, is their DC a candidate for Snyder's replacement? A high turnover D is all we've been saying we need with this O.

Let's see how/what Snyder's defense does when the O isn't putting them in bad spots or shooting themselves in the foot first.

I'd love to see more turnovers too, but unless you're pick 6ing/scoop n' scoring, it doesn't mean dick if your offense goes 3 and out in 80 seconds

I have a feeling we'll find out exactly what's what this second half of the season, though.

Couple of decent early games in the Big 12.

Baylor appears nowhere near as good as last year. I thought so from numbers, but this is the first game I've watched them this year. They got gifted a TD but WVU is going to win this game. Wind appears to be a big factor though.

And OU's run defense is a sieve. They are also going to lose to KSU. Knight may be out though so it probably won't be fair to them.

WVU doing everything they can to lose this game though. After two horrible turnovers already, they just muffed a punt on a fair catch.

K-State's defense might be worse than ours.

best two games on easily. I think both dogs may win but they aren't helping themselves much. I mean WVU is -3 on turnovers and about to take the lead. They should be running away with this.

I really thought Baylor would better than last year.

Baylorfans is already in the pre-melt stage.

Welp, both dogs are up now, let's hope they don't pull a Sherman in the 2nd half of these games.

I disagree with the replay and announcers there. If that was a defensive player it's not reversed (targeting call).

If the objective of the rule is to avoid head injuries, you need to force people to go low on blocks too. He launched and once you leave your feet, you can't say it was textbook. I was surprised it was called and unsurprised it was reversed though because there is a bias towards offensive players.

They are probably about the same but Petty is massively overrated. He's just not very good. He looks great when things are going well because the system but he sure looks awful when guys aren't wide open. I think the pass defenses in the Big 12 are a bit better than last year in what I've seen so far and it exposes Petty a bit.
