Now I see why LSU started a 10+ point favorite.

Unfortunately, Arky plays Arky's schedule and is 3-3 (0-3) and riding a 15 game conference losing streak. My condolences.

If you want to create a thread where Arky fans project their imaginary wins against an imaginary schedule, there's a "Start Topic" button near the top left of the forum.

Can you just analyze these stats and let me know if it means Kentucky stays within 14 points of us?

Nope, especially given the disparity in the two schedules.

LSU has lost to the current #1 and #6 teams in the nation, while UK lost to a Florida team that is currently unranked.

I posted the stats because I was looking at cfbstats.com while posting in another thread and thought it would be interesting. I didn't realize how defensive some people were going to be.

To be fair Arkansas has had some difficulty with Florida in the past. No matter how woeful.

I agree with the fact that LSU has played a tougher schedule to date. I'm not sure why Arky's pretend victories with a hypothetical schedule have any place in an LSU/UK thread, but OK.

Allow someone to explain it to you. The comparison was made to suggest that as bad as Arkansas has looked against its schedule, that if it had the benefit of Kentucky's schedule they would look great. The significance of that should not have to be stated, but implicitly it was saying that Kentucky appears to be better than it is because its schedule sucked--sucked so much in fact that the poster who proffered the counterfactual believes that EVEN Arkansas could go undefeated against that schedule. Got it? Good. Ok, let's move on.

Despite the disparity in SOS, I actually think LSU and UK are pretty evenly matched.

LSU pulls away though with a heavy dose of LF and home field advantage.

I think LSU's biggest advantage in the game is the left side of its OL, especially in 12 or 22 personnel.

Alexander/Collins/Gordon vs. Douglas/Hatcher/Henderson isn't a favorable matchup for UK. I expect to see (as I've seen a lot this season) LSU attack Hatcher/Henderson with the stretch and outside zone play.

I anticipate that UK will play in its 3-4 look most of the game, outside of obvious passing downs.
