I'm just hoping for some clarity for Gurley's status for the near future, not expecting any official ruling today.

What's interesting is that there has been a dearth in information from people that are insiders or supposedly in the know about Gurley in the last few days. I don't think anybody truly knows what to expect from this statement except McGarity himself.

you guys are probably right, but why would they make a statement that sheds no more light than what seems pretty firmly established by Richt's tweet. Seems like if the AD is making a statement there ought to be more clarity or advancement.

Ok, crap, You guys know I am usually on the optimistic side. But my feeling is either this is a no-info thing, like you fear or bad news. Good news is more likely to leak. Bad news is ,ah crap, let him tell them.
So, my optimism is tempered if we don't hear a positive leak before the "official statement".
I guess I will just hear it hear, I don't know where to look for a statement. Is it in writing or an interview? I am sure it will hit in one of these several threads within seconds either way.
