I don't know why Finebaum shows Twitter posts on his show. I'm not a fan of Twitter. Does Society really need a constant stream of truncated thoughts.

Nevertheless, a couple of twitter (blurbs? no wait...tweets)) predicted Arkansas would beat Georgia 35-14 and 24-14.

I started worrying about the Arkansas game in the preseason before I even knew much about them. I figured they are a team desperate for a signature win under Bielama. My worries seem justified because now I know they have a huge offensive line, some great running backs, and an NFL caliber tight end. Plus it is a road SEC game..usually tough no matter who it is.

However, I have changed my pre-season prediction of a 50% chance of a dawg victory to a 60% chance of a dawg victory.

Nobody has held Georgia to 14 points or less since 1 game in 2012. Arkansas is not going to hold Georgia to 14 points.

Arkansas has played teams tough, yet they haven't proven they can win a close game against a good opponent. Georgia has proven this, and they go on the road with confidence that they can win the close game against a good opponent.

Arkansas should have beaten Texas A & M but lost because they committed a couple of dumb penalties. They should have beaten Alabama but lost because they fumbled in the endzone and had an xtra point blocked.

Chances are, they will still find a way to lose just as Tennessee will find a way to lose to Ole Miss, even though talent wise, they are comparable. It is hard to get over the hump from a losing team to a winning team.

Arkansas's strength is their running game. Georgia's defense is not very good, but they do rank high when it comes to stopping the run.

Both teams will get good practice time this week at stopping the run. So, I give Georgia the edge because Mason is a better qb than Arkansas's qb.

The game will be close enough that luck could play a factor but I say Georgia wins a close one due to better qb play.

I do not think Arkansas is going to smear Georgia as some delusional Arkansas fans think, and I would be shocked if they held Georgia to 14 points or less.

Maybe these guys think because Arkansas held Alabama to 2 touchdowns that they can hold UGA to just 2. But we all know why Alabama is looking so bad now...they're all stoned.

TN having Ole Miss's talent is laughable, sorry. The Ole Miss defense is definitely legit.

I think the Arky/UGA game will be a good one. The QB's on both teams are at best suspect, but they both have really good running games. No prediction from me, other than I think it will be close. Pulling for Arky to get off the schneid.

Georgia lost to South Carolina. Not saying it's going to happen, but then again Mark Richt.
