I think the Big XII is not much longer for the world. Time to pick the bones.

Frankly, it's been coming for some time. They are basically the stepchild of the power 5. They had to cobble together an alliance in the wake of the departures of Nebraska, Missouri and (most significantly) A&M. Adding West Virginia made no geographic sense, and how much must it have hurt their pride to invite TCU to become their tenth team (after having snubbed TCU previously). Presently they have no viable options for expansion outside BYU (whom Texas does not want) and Cincinnati. Who else? Tulane? 
Time to bring UT and OU into the SEC and shut this bitch down. I hate both of them passionately, but it needs to happen. Two power divisions of eight teams (basically two conferences in one). Bama, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee can have their long desired circle jerk.
Big XII would cease to exist, Big 10 would be scrambling for two decent schools to add (good luck), and the ACC would be reduced to Gladys Knight (FSU) and the Pips.

No more teams in the SEC. I added two more in my NCAA 2014 Dynasty (Florida State and Clemson) and it sucks. frick you and your thread

The University of Texas will never, ever, ever, ever join the Southeastern conference. They believe that they are too good for us as an academic institution as people, etc. This is one of the most arrogant fan bases and people ever. They will go to PAC (whatever it is) or just go independent.

I do not see anything happening for awhile with expansion. The Texas arrogance is true and laughable at the same time.

This 100%. Rick Perry will be a UT Regent before the Horns ever join the SEC. OU,on the other hand,is a different story.

I could see Oklahoma and Okie State, but NEVER Texas. They've already ruined two conferences (SWC and Big XII).
