There are five of us flying in from out of state for the Auburn-A&M game on November 8th. We went to the Georgia game last year and sat towards the top of section 102. While it was a fantastic game and great atmosphere, we would like to get tickets in the lower bowl and sit in the south end zone if possible. The cheapest tickets in the south end zone (which are in section 15) are $207/each. We would also have to split up into two groups as there aren't 5 tickets together in the lower south end zone.
Would we have better luck trying to buy tickets outside the stadium before the game? How hard would it be to get five tickets together? The ticket prices are crazy right now. Would it be better to wait and hope prices go down? Any advice is appreciated.

Why the south endzone?

Risking it to fly all the way in with five people and try to scalp tickets doesn't seem like the brightest idea.

You've put yourself in a predicament by waiting to find tickets now

We don't have to sit in the south end zone, just figured it would be cool to be close to the students. We didn't book our flights until recently and game tickets haven't gone up much in the last few weeks.
I agree that waiting to scalp tickets is risky, just wondered what others thought.

Many students now refuse to sell their card. 80% selling on the exchange want transfer to other card only. Add in the time you have to go into the gates in order to get decent seats plus the fact they oversell the student section for conference games and I don't see it being worth it for 5 guys coming from out of town. Tons of hassle for little reward. I'd be the little extra money not to have student tickets.

Gotcha. When I was down there was really easy to just get a student id. Did it anytime I had a friend come in town

In a previous thread Lanierspots suggested going to gate 5 - 8 just before kickoff for game day tickets. I used this advise for the LSU game and got two tickets at face value. We drove down from NC with no tickets but there is NEVER a sold out house. You can always get in. We got 2 tickets in the upper deck, letterman section, 45 yard line. The seller offered the tickets for 50 a piece if we would not use the seats. $95 if we choose to sit in our assigned spot. The old guy just thought it was worth 90 bucks to have a little extra room. I can be cheap at times but some things are just worth the money. Great seats at a great value. Oh and thanks for the suggestion Lanier.
