This is the perfect opportunity to move the SEC Office out of Bammerham (say, Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte....oops too neutral).

If the other 13 SEC schools had any balls, they would demand the favoritism ends with this new hire.

By the way, where did the Head of SEC Officials go to college?

It should be in Memphis. Central to most of the SEC and no SEC school in the city

Honestly, Birmingham is the best place it could be. Doesn't need to move.

Nowhere else do you have ~6 schools within a 4 hour radius.

I agree, skirp. Posters like Windsor believe that the Crimson Tide is based in Birmingham. In reality, Birmingham has nothing to do with them and is about as neutral as you can get.

Not knowing this poster, what team he or she supports, and having not reviewed their posting history, I'm going to go ahead and conclude that this poster is an auNeck.

Why do the 13 other SEC schools allow this conspiracy to continue? I have never understood that

as opposed to Birmingham, who has the UAB Blazers in the SEC

Oops, I forgot, playing MS State so tight just made the Blazers LOOK like an SEC team...

You probably think San Francisco is politically moderate, too.

Birmingham is just about the most impartial city that I can think of to have placed the SEC headquarters in; they got it right.

While it's true that Birmingham is mostly an auNeck enclave and doesn't have many Alabama fans, I feel that the city's location has no effect on it's perceived partiality.
